Google Chrome may just be one of those applications that use a lot of memory, but it is still a fast browser that works very well. But it will soon be better thanks to the algorithms new compression named Brotli, who first introduced the Google last September.

Brotli allows compressing data Chrome to 26 percent compared with the current Zopli compression engine, which became a significant improvement. Google confirms Brotli is a new data format, and size the compressed smaller memory allows the use of smaller and faster to load the page. More importantly, these browsers will benefit users of mobile devices because it can save usage Internet data and minimize battery consumption.

Google web engineer Ilya Grigorik says Broti ready to attend, so maybe we'll enjoy a faster Internet experience briefly again on the next version of Chrome. However, these advantages will not be limited by user Chrome only. The reason, Firefox will also adopt the Brotli 44 in Firefox, which will be released later this month
