MSI has just announced two new Special Edition motherboard for Intel platform X99 and Z170 present theme with the color black. Every new motherboard design brings the carbon fiber and black colouring. If you want to assemble a computer with a black theme, this motherboard can be a choice.
X99 motherboard is actually a Special Edition Carbon flagship motherboard from X99A Godlike Gaming MSI announced last year. It looks like X99A Godlike Gaming the Carbon is the same only changed the motherboard the theme colors. This Carbon Edition brings the Mystic Light RGB LEDS, Audio Boost 3 Pro, and Killer DoubleShot-X 3 Pro as well as providing additional pin on the CPU socket for the Intel Extreme processors support overclocking.
On the other hand, Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon not seglamor motherboard X99 Carbon Edition because it does not come with cover i/o. However, other features are quite alluring as amplifier metal slot on the PCIe, Audio Boost 3, and the Intel Ethernet network interface.

Like X99A Godlike Gaming Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon, Carbon is also equipped with Mystic Light RGB LEDS that offer up to 16.8 million colors and 16 LED effect. The difference is, the LED belonging to X99 is placed at the end of the slot PCIe and in bottom of VRM heatsink and PCH, while the LED belonging to Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon is placed at the right side of the motherboard.
